While the surface spire rises nearly three miles into the humid atmosphere of Castrovel, the true scale of Queensrock lies subterranean. Beneath its towering exterior walls, a labyrinth of thousands of miles of perfectly engineered tunnels, fungal agricultural farms, larval bio-reactors, and crystalline communication chambers extends deep into the planetary crust.
Queensrock is the sovereign seat of the Overqueen, the supreme telepathic and biological matriarch whose consciousness guides the entire Formian Federation. In ancient times, the city was an impenetrable military fortress from which endless chitinous legions marched to war against the Lashunta. Today, it stands as a monument to peaceful coexistence, housing diplomatic missions, corporate embassies, and joint research installations.
